Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six pieces of information suffice: your sex, date of birth, how you'd characterize your health, tobacco use status, coverage amount, and desired term. Your name and detailed health data come in only if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates carriers return for the health tier you chose. Your actual premium is set by the carrier's underwriting process, which may keep, improve, or worsen your classification. Nothing here guarantees a price or offers insurance.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name and the application launches pre-filled with your selected quote, then moves to the carriers' secure platform. You may pause and restart later. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed agency (License 0B75129), manages the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
The carrier, coverage amount, and your details determine this. Some carriers labeled for immediate coverage can approve qualified applicants quickly; each quote specifies whether an exam is required, may be required, or isn't needed.
Is a longer term better?
Choose a term that covers the years a family would struggle if you were gone: mortgage years, when kids need support, business debts. Longer periods cost more monthly but lock your rate in. Compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year options simultaneously on the quotes page.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote system doesn't gather contact information, we never sell or exchange data, and our analytics tools don't use cookies or tracking. Our privacy page details everything collected and its use.
